Historical and psychological factors of German national character formation

The article is devoted to the problem of formation of the national character of the representatives of the German nation. The author examines the historical events and psychological experience that led to the formation and subsequent dynamics of the German national character. For the analysis of mentality consideration of works of the classical German literature is involved. Examines the effect of the historical experience of the German national character. The question is raised about similar moments in the historical experience of representatives of the Russian and German Nations. The author also offers his view on the prospects of further development of the German national character.
