The link between worlds through customs, food

The article is written on the basis of the author's field materials collected during 1998-2010 in the settlements of Beloyarsk district of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra of the Tyumen region, and available data in literary sources. The purpose of the article is to expand the range of sources of rites, characterized by the role of rites, food in the life of the Khanty people living in the territory.
