Corporeality as a value component of contemporary sports

The article is devoted to the socio-philosophical analysis of the phenome-non of corporeality in its axiological dimension. In the author's opinion, corporeality is the substrate of sports activity, on the basis of which the phenomenon itself is formed. The human body, of course, can be consid-ered one of the constants of the philosophical tradition not only of Eu-rope, but of the whole world. The interpretation of corporeality is the key and algorithm for understanding the specificity of culture on a particular segment of its his¬torical development.
