The problem of interpreting the modal syllogistics of Aristotle still remains an extremely debatable problem. Some researchers consider it unsolvable in principle because of the contradictions Aristotle had when proving the syllogisms of contingency. Recognizing the existence of this problem, in the article the first and very important step to its correct solution is made - logical relationships are explained between all universal and particular types of apodictic, problematic and accidental judgments. To this end, a modal heccaedecagon is constructed for all simple judgments of the Aristotelian type. It turns out that the reason for Aristotle's accusations is the misinterpretation by modern researches of the difference between contradictor and contrary contingence.
