The emergence of new religious movements and their spread requires the identification and study of these processes. The article is devoted to the study of the factors, because new religious movements had arisen and continue to arise under their influence. The study provides examples of new religious movements, which emergence was caused by the identified factors. New religious movements are a socially significant phenomenon and require profound and detailed researches.
