The method of humanities and social sciences in current knowledge and the problem of this unity with general science method

The paper dwells on issues of specifics and essence of the method of humanities and social sciences, as well as the peculiarities of its unity with the whole scientific method and its differences from the latter. The author suggests the conclusion that the method of humanities and social sciences embraces the peculiarities, methods, approaches and techniques for cognitive activity which in Early Modern Period and Contemporary History, since 17 century, had been considered as nonscientific and pseudoscientific in gnoseology and methodology of scientific cognition and taken out.
