Social-philosophical bases of analysis of manipulation by mass consciousness

The article is devoted to the search and identification of possible grounds for the analysis of manipulations with the mass consciousness. Possible approaches to the interpretation of public consciousness and mass consciousness as its form, especially characteristic of the society of screen culture, are revealed. Heuristics of socio-phenomenological, neo-Kantian and a number of other philosophical theories as tools for analyzing the manipulation of the mass consciousness is pointed out. The conclusions to which the phenomenological analysis of manipulations in mass culture leads.
