This article is aimed at revealing determinacy of the relations of necessity and eventuality, which can be pretty common and specific in the modern, rapidly changing society. Understanding the philosophical categories of necessity and chance can be traced from antiquity and has not lost its relevance to the present moment. The genesis of categories of necessity and chance is traced, the differences of correlated concepts stand out, as well as the main characteristics and patterns.
