The article presents a study of the ethical motivations of the behavior of modern helping professionals in various organizations of Tomsk. Analyzed decisions of specialists regarding ethical dilemmas (the standpoint of professional ethics). The possibilities of applying applied ethical standards in increasing the efficiency of social work. The author examined the possibilities and prospects of teaching social work professionals applied ethical standards.
