Emotional experiences of HIV-infected hospital patients at the stage of adaptation to diagnosis depending on their churching

The article investigates some emotional and spiritual experiences of HIV-infected patients with ICB №2 of Moscow at the stages of their adaptation to diagnosis depending on their church-going. The article considers the feeling of loneliness and ways to overcome it by patients; their fears; the degree of dissatisfaction with life; self-condemnation; recognition of guilt and justice of punishment; sadness, irritability, tendency to tears; self-absorption, suicidal tendencies. It is established that despite the increased emotionality of inchurched patients, among them more working, interested in the problems of other people who are worried not only about their health, but also about the health of loved ones who have reconciled with God and accepted the diagnosis. Among them, fewer are those who fall into the risk of suicide. Studies have shown that the spiritual care of HIV-infected hospital patients has a beneficial effect on their physical and emotional state. Spiritual care of HIV-infected patients can be considered as an integral part of antiviral therapy
