The problem of identifying the essence of myth within the apophatic paradigm

The paper studies the problem of determination the essence of mith in the context of apophatic paradigm. We have considered the difference of using apophetic paradigm in humanitarian and natural sciences. The need to study of using apophetic method for definition multiplexing concepts in the context of humanitarian sciences is justified. Within the compass of apophetic paradigm such essential features of mith as personhood, symbolism, metaphoric are considered. Impossibility of consideration mith out of sociocultural space is proved. It is argued that the apophatic principle of identifying the essential nature of the myth, removing the usual list of essential features attributed to the myth, not only does not limit the circle of its defining features, but also allows to understand them in a new way, which not only does not contradict the dialectical tradition of understanding the nature of the myth, but continues and develops it. The fit of myth into social space requires the actualization of an interdisciplinary approach in the analysis of the problem of mythusiness. At the intersection of philosophy, history, sociology, psychology, the problem of forming a single method of study of myth is of particular importance, which actualizes consideration of the undeniable merits of the apophatic paradigm.
