The article is devoted to modern attempts to represent physical reality. One such attempt is the physical metaphor of the Turing machine, which allows us to compare mathematical calculations with a physical process, which allows us to consider in physical terms the laws of storage and processing of information and computational physics. Twentieth century proposed to describe the physical reality of the theory of cellular automata-a mathematical construction, its structure resembles a cell. Of interest is the theory of constructs, which States that science can be formulated in terms of the difference between possible and impossible transformations. The third option is not possible in this system.
