The role of «information» in the formation of the modern postindustrial society

The article analyzes the current post-industrial «information society» in terms of different approaches to the very phenomenon of «information». We consider the relationship between the emergence of «information» and the development of man and humanity. The feature of the fact that «information» is a property of «living matter» is emphasized.
