The role of psychological well-being in the Armed Forces Russian Federation

Much attention in this work is paid to the importance of studying the psychological well-being of servicemen of the Russian army. The article emphasizes the increasing requirements for moral and psychological training of modern military, as their activities require the solution of important tasks, including those that are associated with the risk to life, a set of personal psychological characteristics of military personnel that are necessary for the success of their professional activities, the importance of considering various scientific approaches to the study of psychological well-being of military personnel. Insufficient study of psychological well-being, rare and ineffective testing in the Armed Forces of Russia leads to negative consequences for the commanders of units, the soldiers themselves, military teams in the performance of combat missions and in peacetime. The article notes the relevance and timeliness of the study of the level of psychological well-being, which will ensure the identification of stable personal and socially significant life goals, motivation for self-development and self-realization in the profession. The role of psychological well-being of servicemen in the Armed Forces of Russia, despite the practical and theoretical relevance, is studied insufficiently and not systematically.
