Labor market in Russia and the problems of employment of young specialists

Despite the fact that the problem of youth unemployment today is rather intensively studied in various scientific fields, however, these studies are local in nature. In this article, based on our own research, analysis of expert opinions and data from sociological surveys of other scientists, it is proposed to consider the peculiarities of the labor market, which objectively impede the employment of young people. The low employment status of young people is caused by the automation of some professions, with the consequent reduction of jobs and the emergence of new types of professional activity for which graduates of educational institutions are not prepared; and technological backwardness of others, where there are low-quality and unattractive jobs for young people.
