The need to organize work on the formation of a gender culture of girls as a factor in their further professional adaptation is determined by the fact that they are distinguished by its low level of severity, have no ideas about professions that are adequate to their type of gender. The purpose of the article is to identify the level of gender culture and professional inclinations of girls from complete and single-parent families, studying in high school, to develop and test a pedagogical model of its formation.
The study proved that the majority of respondents can be attributed to the risk group for professional maladaptation, as they are characterized by a low and medium level of gender culture formation. The study also showed that females with a feminine type of gender differ in their formed tendencies to professional activity, adequate to their biological gender. The study showed that in masculine and androgynous girls, professional roles are inadequately formed by their gender characteristics, which will further contribute to their professional maladaptation.
The results obtained made it possible to develop a model for the formation of gender culture as a factor in the further professional adaptation of girls, the testing of which proved its effectiveness. The article is intended for psychologists, social educators and pedagogical workers of educational organizations.
