The author in the article considers the attitude of the Russian Orthodox Church to the Internet and its further interaction with the virtual space, in the context of global Internet globalization, which eventually affected all spheres of human life, including the religious worldview, which gave rise to such a phenomenon as the «Internet Church». For today, the Russian Orthodox Church has adapted quite well to the virtual reality, having managed to create its own Orthodox official websites, portals and channels on the world wide web in a small amount of time, thus being able to positively influence a large number of Russian youth and adults through the Internet as part of spiritual and moral education.
