On the direction of the process of cultural and historical development

The subject of this article is the concept of linear evolution in the process of cultural and historical development. The research was carried out on the basis of the historiosophical concept of A. Blajenogo - the founder of this unitary trend in the historical studies. A comparative analysis of existing concepts is carried out, general principles are identified, the difference between these concepts and the concepts of local civilizations is shown.
