Ideological basis of Russian geopolitics

The article describes the basics of Russian geopolitics. The aim of this work is to generalize and analyze the ideological foundations of Russian geopolitics, which includes a system of views, ideas and worldviews of Russian people. The problematic of the article lies in the debatable nature of the geopolitical system of the Russian people, since there is still no unified system of knowledge combining religious, scientific, and exoteric-mystical knowledge of the world. The author notes that in geopolitics people, geography, history, climate, and the environment are closely intertwined. The author focuses on different points of view on the formation of Russian statehood, identity, as well as the ideological foundations of Russian people. The author notes the special influence of the geographical position of Russia, which had a great influence on the intermediate position between East and West. One of the main accents of the article is that Russia is simultaneously present in Europe and Asia, which leaves a peculiar imprint on the country's social, economic, political, military and cultural features. In this regard, the image of the Russian Cossacks is an ideal person, distinguished by the Orthodox faith, a high sense of patriotism, fidelity to Cossack traditions, hard work and strict discipline. In conclusion, the author draws attention to the importance of Orthodox culture, the faith of the Russian people in the power of truth, spirit and justice. The author highlights the ideological features of the Russian man, who are characterized by a sense of freedom and independence from state power, since Russian people adhere to high ideas and great goal-setting.
