Psychological characteristics of alcohol-prone students

The article contains an analysis of current perceptions of the psychological characteristics of persons who are inclined to drink alcohol. Current global statistics on the identification of different chemical and non-chemical addictions are presented. The risks of different types of addictions arising from the epidemiological situation in the world and Russia are considered. The authors present the progress of experimental work on the study of psychological characteristics of students inclined and not inclined to drink alcohol. The results of the study of alcohol addiction in students are presented. Personal characteristics of students with a propensity for alcohol addiction are identified.
