The role of a new type of library in the process of acculturation in the regional cultural space

This article reveals the regional specifics of the socio-cultural role of a new type of library in the process of mutual influence of cultures. The author substantiates the idea that in the conditions of a new type of library, the activity and vital activity of a person, moral and creative, is activated. It is established that the universality of a new type of library consists in the acculturation of a person in the conditions of a regional cultural environment, in the possibility of a person's entry into culture, assimilation of cultural and behavioral norms and values of national culture.
