Emotional intelligence, its essence and its place in the structure of personality

The relevance of the topic of emotional intelligence is associated with two groups of factors. The first group of factors is the actuality of the topic for the person. The second group is the lack of a unified approach to understanding emotional intelligence, as well as its place in the structure of personality in the topic of emotional intelligence. In the article, the author examines various approaches to understanding emotional intelligence, separates social intelligence from emotional intelligence. In the structure of personality, the author distinguishes motivational, social, emotional-volitional, cognitive (intellectual) spheres of personality.
