Imagination as an integral component of students musical activity

The article deals with the theoretical aspects of imagination as an integral part of the musical activity of students. Music classes (music lesson), being a component of the subjects of the aesthetic cycle, contribute to the comprehension of children of a holistic artistic picture of the world, the development of associative thinking. The authors explore the concept of "imagination "in a historical context, pay attention to the types of imagination, its specific functions, analyze the programs «Music» of various authors from the point of view of modeling the process of artistic creativity in the classroom, aimed at the formation of associative thinking.
