Tolerance and intolerance of uncertainty as a special cognitive state and individual psychological peculiarity is an important condition for successful adaptation of migrants. The study shows the interrelation of tolerance/intolerance of uncertainty with important aspects of migrants' adaptation. On the one hand, this relationship manifests itself in relation to the subjective experience of quality of life, and on the other hand, in relation to its meaningfulness. The interrelation of tolerance and intolerance to uncertainty has signs of multilevelness and dynamism, which allows us to characterize it as a link between the socio-cultural and psychological sides of migrants' adaptation. The complexity and dynamism of the relationship of tolerance/intolerance to uncertainty is manifested in the differentiation of its main content features in different age groups of migrants.
