The situation of existential anxiety and the search for a transcendental meaning of existence

The alarm of the global threat that struck the world in the spring of 2020 made humanity shudder, wake up from being immersed in everyday idleness and vanity, and think deeply about the high and innermost human destiny, in which the predecessors of modern generations have faithfully believed throughout historical epochs. It is time to reassess the cultural paradigm of the new time, with its state of intoxicating euphoria caused by the achievements of scientific and technological progress, comfortable conditions of material existence, the loss of a responsible attitude to the meaning of human existence. The article reflects a range of philosophical, religious-ethical and existential problems.
