Philosophical analysis of communication technologies in the system of human - economy

The purpose of the article is to answer the question of how the essence of technology affects social well-being and human freedom, which are expressed in the autonomy of the individual. Through the analysis of the ideas of M. Heidegger, K. Jaspers and N. Berdyaev, the authors of this article make an appeal to the fundamental aspect of technology, which is not limited to the function of an instrument of human activity. Since the technology of electronic communication is the most relevant for the modern world, the perspective on its origin and meaning, found in the texts of M. McLuhan, allows us to focus on the ability of technology to be a mediator between people and the world around them. However, based on the works of A. Negri and J. Deleuze, another object with which technology establishes a connection, could be examined. It is an economic system that reproduces the logic of profit maximization. Based on the analysis, the authors of the article come to the conclusion that danger lies in the economic aspect of technology. With the help of technology, the economy subordinates the will of man, destroying the autonomy of the individual. The way out of this situation is seen in a philosophical appeal to the connection between economics and technology, and its rethinking that makes possible for production to become a creative work.
