Deepening ecological contradictions in the "man-nature" system during the industrialization and urbanization of Europe

The article examines the features of industrialization and urbanization of European society in the 17th-19th centuries, contributing to the growth of environmental contradictions in the "man-nature" system. The author pays attention to the problems of overpopulation of the territory of industrial cities, the concentration of industrial production in the urban area, the disposal of household and industrial waste, the deterioration of sanitary and hygienic conditions in the urban environment.
