The article is devoted to the study of changes in modern educational practices due to the emergence of "Smart" technologies. The analysis of Smart technologies and the effectiveness of their application in the educational environment are conducted. The purpose of this work is to analyze the impact of Smart technologies on the educational process and technogenic culture in general, to identify the change of the educational paradigm of the information society, to trace the emergence of a new phenomenon - "Smart Education". The changes taking places in the education system are increasing the effectiveness of learning, which enables to lay the reliable groundwork for the human capital formation, as required by the developing modern economy.
