Emotional burnout and its connection with neurotic depression in employees of the federal fire service

The importance of the phenomenon of emotional burnout for employees of the federal fire service and its relationship with neurotic depression is considered. Objective: to identify the relationship between emotional burnout and neurotic depression in employees of the Federal Fire Service. Employees of one of the fire and rescue squad of the FPS GPS of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kemerovo region - Kuzbass were examined. Methods of diagnostics of the level of emotional burnout (V. V. Boyko); questionnaires of professional burnout (K. Maslach, S. Jackson, in the adaptation of N. E. Vodopyanova); for the identification and evaluation of neurotic states (K. K. Yakhin, D. M. Mendelevich) and depressive states (I. G. Bespalko). It was determined that with an increase in the level of emotional burnout, the level of neurotic depression also increases. The results obtained can be used to prevent emotional burnout and neurotic depression in employees of extreme professions.
