Genesis of the category "self-actualization"

This article discusses the category of self-actualization, provides many definitions and theories of its origin. Its role in human development and life, its influence on activity is discussed. A detailed analysis is carried out in the context of humanistic psychology proving that human development is one big process of actualization because the basic property of our psyche is a reflection of existing reality. Due to this process a person changes his being (or existence as a kind of new living experience) mastering this experience and developing his own individual style, which will later manifest itself in the form of individual life choices which develops into individual activities and relationships with the world.
