Emotional intelligence as a personal resource in the work of a manager

The article examines the role of emotional intelligence as a personal resource in the work of a manager. The key characteristics of the studied construct are identified and analyzed. Competencies in the structure of the emotional intelligence of the manager are described. The significance of this neoplasm in determining the success of the specific functions of the executive head is concretized.
