What is the modern world from the point of view of the human psyche? This is a combination of stress factors of varying severity. It is not surprising that every year, both throughout the world and in Russia, the number of requests from citizens for psychological help is growing uncontrollably. The most frequent requests: reducing the level of general anxiety and uncertainty, resolving intra-family and other interpersonal and intrapersonal conflicts, working out psychosomatics.
Since a person as a person is the basic structural component of society, it becomes obvious that a healthy psyche of each individual person is a kind of guarantee of a favorable and stable psychological climate within the whole society as a whole.
The purpose of this article is to substantiate the effectiveness of the use of the author's psychological technique "Psychosoliptic metaphorics" (PSM) in the process of personality psychotherapy. The methodological basis of the work is the methods of observation, diagnostics, analysis, synthesis, as well as the biographical, experimental, systemic and metaphorical methods.
As a result of the study, the essential characteristics of the author's technique "Psychosoliptic Metaphorics" were revealed and studied, the universality and effectiveness of this technique in the framework of personality therapy were substantiated.
Due to the fact that the use of "Psychosoliptic Metaphorics" in the process of psychotherapy allows the psychologist not only to speed up the diagnosis of the client, but also to use the latter's internal resources stored at the unconscious level (as a result of which the therapy becomes as effective as possible), it should be concluded that and the expediency of introducing this psychological technique as a tool in the professional activities of practicing psychologists.
