Modern understanding of the phenomenon of trust in the sociological aspect

The article discusses the main conditions for the formation of trust. It is noted that in some cases, especially when considering Eastern society, the determinants of the emergence, development and maintenance of trust may differ from Western conditions. It is indicated that the value of trust also depends on the transparency of relations in the case of both interpersonal interaction and institutional form. It is concluded that trust may have a rationalistic basis in the perception of the subject with whom trusting relationships are built, or emotional coloring may prevail, the affective side may prevail. As a result, risks may be missed. Such a feature of interpersonal trust is indicated, which consists in the fact that it is always focused on the future. It is noted that democracy can be considered as one of the institutional determinants of trust.
