Early period in biography and creative activity of poetess Maria Moravskaya (Moravsky): culture-historical reconstruction

The object of the study is the personality of the Silver Age poetess Maria Ludwigovna Moravskaya (Moravsky; 1889–1947), who left Russia in spring of 1917 and remained in the USA. The subject of the research is the early period of her biography and creative activity (1889–1907). The article introduces into scientific circulation the publications by Moravskaya (articles, essays, stories, interviews) not known in Russia and reveals the autobiographical information contained in them. Their authenticity is verified by comparison with the data obtained from the analysis of Russian periodicals of the early 20th century, memoirs of contemporaries, scientific works on the Russian political and cultural history.
