Main theories of work motivation in sociology and social philosophy

The article discusses the main schools and theories of human labor activity motivation, recognized in the framework of sociological science. The importance of procedural theories of labor motivation for socio-philosophical knowledge is noted. The combination of the ideas of justice, participation and satisfaction in the main approaches to work make it possible to reveal the philosophical potential of these theories. The need for belonging provides a person with a desire to be needed, both in the social sphere and in the professional one. The need of the individual for belonging is directly related to the need for communication and self-realization, which allows us to consider labor motivation as a subject of socio-philosophical knowledge.
