The concept of triadology as a current tradition in Russian philosophical and theological thought. History and modernity

Simutina Tatyana Vladimirovna  (graduate student, Kuban State University, Krasnodar)

The article will consider the special attitude of Russian religious philosophers to the concept of the Trinity. Let us examine how the Christian triadic doctrine was comprehended by Russian thought, and also characterize what modern philosophical and theological thought can give us on this issue. The topic opens up for researchers as an actual problem in modern science, where the interests of philosophy and theology collide. The concept of the Trinity is torn between the religious inviolability of sacred terms and the philosophical desire to know the concepts of God. Spassky A.A. emphasizes that “our time, hardened in religious formalism and dead dogmatism, finds it difficult to understand this freedom of thought that reigned in the ancient Church…” [8, p. 645]. For this reason, Russian religious philosophy was also rejected and not understood by the Orthodox Church. The purpose of the study is to reveal the concept of the Trinity as a conceptual term of Christian thought in Russian philosophy, which originated in the first centuries of our era and meaningful in the modern era. For the successful resolution of the set goal, it is necessary: 1) to study the origins of the doctrine of the Trinity; 2) explore triadology as a unique conceptual moment in Russian philosophy; 3) determine the current state of triadic teaching in Russia. The Trinity is a dialectical concept that reveals the essence of divine being. For this reason, the article will use the method of speculative consideration of this term. The concept of triadology in modern science is given special attention, since it contains a dialectical process - multifaceted and complex. This topical issue is dealt with by such scientists and researchers as Spassky A.A., Zyablintsev G., Fokin A.R., Dmitriev A.I., Eliseev G., Mikushevich V. The development of the dialectic of triadology in the historical process with a look at the present was studied: Sorokin P.A., Sergienko P.Ya., M. Kurochkina, Borzova E.P.

Keywords:triadology, Holy Trinity, Russian philosophy, Christian religion, doctrine of the Trinity, dialectics.
