Deformation of legal consciousness as a factor of legal nihilism

in this article, a socio-philosophical analysis of the deformation of legal consciousness as a factor of legal nihilism is carried out; the directions of the study of legal consciousness and its role for society are considered, the factors of the deformation of legal consciousness and the causes of antisocial behavior from the point of view of the practice of social philosophy are determined; legal nihilism as a social phenomenon, consequence and form of the deformation of legal consciousness are investigated; two of its active forms are defined: legal indifference and legal negativism. In addition, the article presents the author's position on the need to revise the theoretical aspects of legal nihilism. In particular, it is proved that an additional passive form of deformation of legal consciousness is the legal illiteracy of an individual.
