Kogan Boris Mikhailovich  (Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Moscow City University, Moscow)

Zhakov Dmitry Andreevich  (postgraduate student, Moscow City University, Moscow)

The analytical review examines those aspects of kinesiology that can be useful in correcting various types of child development disorders. The definition of kinesiology as a scientific discipline is given, the areas of special knowledge in kinesiology that can be used in the development of methods and techniques for correcting motor disorders based on the modified formation of physiologically correct movement patterns are highlighted. The authors pay special attention to the specific activities of a kinesiologist, including the impact on motor development, sensorimotor and behavioral foundations of disorders of the emotional-volitional sphere, as well as the formation of intellectual activity, focusing on the "intersections" both in the field of theory and practice of kinesiology with correctional psychology and neuropsychology, based on universal concepts for these disciplines about the complex structure of the defect and ideas about the internal relationship between the sensory (cognitive) and motor (motor) sides of development. Analyzing theoretical and experimental research presented in the works of domestic and foreign authors on the relationship between normal and deviant motor development on the one hand and emotional-volitional and intellectual aspects of development on the other, the authors conclude that the available literature data is sufficient only for the formulation of preliminary, search hypotheses. Few studies on the relationship of motor and cognitive development (adults and children) presented in the analytical review, emphasize the direct correlation between emotional-behavioral disorders individual aspects of development and various disabilities in mastering motor skills, as well as ascertain the need for further research on the role of special methods in remedial programs aimed at normalizing psychological and behavioral disorders in children with different variants of dysontogenesis.
