Sociocultural identity: a typology of forms

The ontological aspect of of sociocultural identity is revealed ontological identity as the existential basis of a particular culture, cultural epoch. There are such types of socio-cultural identity as ontological, territorial, religious, ethnic, historical, gender and "Patchwork identity". It is shown that it is sociocultural identity that is an effective and stable mode of rooting a person in a socio-cultural environment, the basis of the hierarchy of identity forms. It is the ontological identity that determines the content of gender, territorial, and all other types of identity. The relevance of the research is also determined by the need to streamline the existing variety of forms of identity.
