Existential psychology: the topic of self-identity

This article discusses the foundations of existential psychology. The essence of this doctrine is highlighted, including from the point of view of existential psychologists, which include L. Binswanger, M. Bos, I. Yalom and others. The general ideas expressed in the teachings of these psychologists are generalized, their minuses and pluses are revealed. The features of human self-identity are studied through the prism of these teachings. As a result, the conclusion is formulated that L. Binswanger discussed the topic of self-identity in the most detail.
