Scientific and technical progress in modern Russia: social and political prospects

Sedelnikov Mikhail Valerievich  (Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor, Siberian Federal University, Krasnoyarsk)

The article is devoted to the socio-philosophical understanding of the nature of Russia's technological development in the context of the growing impact of sanctions, since today the progress of science and technology acts as a determining factor in political and socio-economic dynamics. It is noted that at the state level, the primary stabilizing tasks are to support Russian science and science-intensive industry, qualitatively strengthen the role of science in culture and society, and transform the model of managing scientific and technological processes based on certain technocratic principles. These measures will not only increase the stability of the political regime, increase the efficiency of the production of consumer goods and concentrate resources, but also reorient Russian society towards the achievements of domestic science and technology, reduce the excessive consumption of material goods, and minimize dependence on technology imports. In the future, the growth of scientific enlightenment of the population and the introduction of innovative technologies will make it possible to rethink the quantitative level of expenditures, based on the principles of rationalism and pragmatism, and also to maintain the leading role of Russia on the scale of technogenic human civilization.

Keywords:scientific and technological progress, political regime, social development, high-tech production, sanctions in the field of science and technology, technocratic management model.
