The relationship of intelligence and motivation with the understanding of educational material in junior schoolchildren

the article outlines the problem of understanding in education, describes the models of understanding. Reveals the essence of understanding in the educational activities of younger students, in particular, the understanding of the subject by the student and the understanding of the student as the subject of educational activity by the teacher. The article provides a description of the concept of intelligence with the designation of its connection with understanding through the process of generating thoughts. It is emphasized that the main components of the teacher's understanding of the student are the motivation and the subject of understanding, the interaction of which leads to the achievement of an understanding of the student's learning activity by the teacher. Learning motivation serves as a factor in achieving understanding of educational material by younger students. To identify the relationship between intelligence and learning motivation with understanding, an empirical study was conducted, which confirmed the presence of the studied relationships. The results obtained during the study are presented in this article.
