the article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the choice of coping strategies in extreme situations by employees of the fire and rescue units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Chelyabinsk region. The features of interpersonal relationships and the relationship between coping strategies and personal and environmental resources are revealed. Four techniques were used. It is revealed that the most frequently used (dominant) the coping strategy is "problem solving planning" (18.0%. In 51.2% of the surveyed, styles of interpersonal interaction predominate, characterized by subordination and conformity (responsible-generous, cooperative - conventional, dependent-obedient, submissive-shy).
