The modularity of suffering in the existentialism of Albert Camus

Tokarev Dmitry Anatolyevich  (candidate of philosophy, associate Professor of the Department of Humanities of the Omsk Institute of water transport-branch of FSBEI HE «Siberian State University of Water Transport»)

The article considers a modus model of the consideration of suffering based on the philosophical views of a prominent representative of the philosophical thought of the XX century, Albert Camus. Various sources and literature on Camus' philosophical views are analyzed, in which the problem of suffering with an existential version of its overcoming is touched upon. The key point of the concept of suffering in Camus is a person's awareness of his loneliness in constant human communication and giving authenticity to his existence through overcoming the negative in suffering. In the concept of Albert Camus, life is given to a person for the maximum disclosure of his capabilities before the fear of death and without hope for a transcendental reality. The egoism of a sane and kind individual, in the opinion, allows you to lead the world away from the destruction of a person's identity. The relevance of this research is characterized by the deep processes of the Western worldview of the first quarter of the XXI century – the extinction of religious understanding of human destiny, the departure from the morality of traditions and law to the all-consuming egoism of man, tearing himself away from the "taboo and totem".

Keywords:Suffering, the modus model of suffering, the existentialism of A. Camus, existential communication, the absurdity of being and the authenticity of man.
