FROM THE HISTORY OF CULTURAL INFLUENCE OF IMMIGRANTS IN WESTERN EUROPE: GLOBALIZATION AND INTERNATIONALIZATION OF CULTURE

Despite the expansion and deepening of research in the field of migration conducted in recent years, there is a need for further research at the theoretical and empirical levels, including in the field of culture and civil society. However, as a fundamental problem here, the question arises whether and how to analytically separate the cultural influences of immigration processes in Western Europe from the aspects of globalization and internationalization of culture. The authors reveal the specific features of integration, cultural diversity and competitiveness of immigrants, communication barriers created by different languages and cultures and the dualistic view of immigrants on cultural integration.
