CHANGING IMAGES OF SCIENCE IN CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL DYNAMICS

The article shows that science is undergoing a radical revision of its fundamental characteristics associated with a change in the socio-cultural foundations of scientific knowledge. Topical issues of forming a generalized image of science in various periods of its development are excluded. comparative analysis of the main research method. The authors come to the conclusion that in modern conditions there is the ability to use the role of the starting point for the analysis of science as a phenomenon.
