The article considers SEO analysis as a new information and analytical tool for organizing the digital environment. Its role and functional purpose in the processes of managing information flows and arrays are characterized. The main areas of application of SEO analysis are defined. Its ambiguous role in the formation of the modern cultural space, its influence on the promotion of certain values in the digital environment, risks and threats are revealed. The problem of the need for cultural understanding of the consequences of his active integration into society is outlined.
