NA GLOBAL FORMS, FEATURES AND TRENDS IN FESTIVE CULTURE IN THE POST-SOVIET PERIOD

The article examines the problem of transformation of the holiday culture of the post-Soviet period, identifies the main trends of transformation, analyzes the continuity of the domestic holiday culture, and studies the role of the holiday in the formation of the modern holiday calendar. Various methodological approaches were used, the reasons for the revival of religious and pagan holidays, filling them with new elements, the creation and establishment of new holidays were determined. The adaptability of holiday occasions has been studied, the role of the mythological basis of the holiday has been determined. The features of holding festive events and their impact on society are revealed.
