The phenomenon of everyday theatricality is based on a number of characteristics, among which role transformation and escapism are of particular interest. The subject of scientific research of this work lies in the plane of philosophical and anthropological understanding of the specifics of role (theatrical) transformation in the everyday culture of communication and the features of the manifestation of theatrical escapism, its possible differences from escapism as a phenomenon. As a thesis for understanding, the thesis is put forward about the practice-oriented, pragmatic, managerial nature of both theatrical transformation and theatrical escapism, acting as instruments of socio-cultural communication.
