RESPONSIBILITY AS A SIGNIFICANT QUALITY OF MIDDLE-AGED FATHERS

The article considers fatherhood as a multicomponent phenomenon: psychological, social, personal. The stages of the development of fatherhood in society are analyzed, the functions and importance of the father in the family system are revealed. The modern view of society on changes in the father's role in the family is revealed. An empirical analysis of the responsibility of middle-aged fathers and its correlation with the self-esteem of married and unmarried men is presented. Negative and positive connections in the personal characteristics of fathers according to the parameters of responsibility are revealed.
